This young adult fiction novel tells the story of Shamira, a teenaged blind vigilante, and her quest to save missing kids on Mars. To combat the crime organization that holds them hostage, she decides to use the most unlikely of weapons: the very kids they have captured! "The Pack" follows the success of L.M. Preston's first published novel, "Explorer X - Alpha" (February 2010), and further nurtures her desire to write and create stories about young people who take action to overcome unbelievable odds. Keep on the lookout for Ms. Preston's next novel, "Bandits" (expected release February 2010), in which Daniel must fight off his father's killers to save his world from destruction.
