Susan Katrinka Butler Joins the Ranks of Leading Professionals
Susan Katrinka Butler celebrates 22 years of struggle before finding success
Lakeland, FL, January 21, 2010 /Books PR News/ -- author and artist Susan Katrinka Butler has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in the arts.
Susan Katrinka Butler is the owner of Katrinka's Korner, a sole proprietorship created to market her artwork, poetry and literary work. She was first published for poetry in 1987 under the name 'Katrinka' and in her first full length novel titled 'Her Education' in May 2009. Her second novel titled 'Deception-A Shattered Trust'' is in the process of being published and she just completed writing a romance novel titled 'First Cousins.' She continues to write and is expecting to complete her fouth novel soon.
Ms. Butler was formerly a nurse practitioner and licensed practical nurse for two years. She also worked in security services (for which she recived over 150 citations of appreciation for the arrests and convictions in which she was involved) and in the trucking industry for 23 years. She completed an undergraduate degree at Calvin College & Seminary, received a BS/BA degree from Florida Southern College, and a Master's Degree in Psychology from Michigan State University. She was 'Ms. Fresca' in 1969 and also worked as a Coca-Cola model. When she can tear herself away from her writing, she volunteers with Talbot House Ministries.
