November 10, 2010 /Books PR News/ -- A professor of International Business at Argosy University, Atlanta has joined the cadre of prominent leaders advocating American protectionism. Dr. Isola O. Busuyi said ignoring protectionism as a viable alternative for solving the country's economic impasse at this point could spell disaster. He said benefits of such a move would be massive; it could force factories to move back to America and solve the problem of unemployment once and for all. International business experts are aware of the fact that factor cost as a determinant of foreign direct investment is not an enduring phenomenon. Costs change over time. Factories moved to Taiwan at one time because of cost advantage until those factories moved to China when costs went up in Taiwan.
The multi-continent trained, Cantonese speaking, Chinese thinking specialist said raising taxes on goods imported from China will instantly correct the exchange rate imbalance created by manipulation of Chinese currency; it will make domestic products competitive again and raise the much needed revenue for the government. Commenting on the Federal Reserve's recent move to dilute the US dollar by pumping $600billion into the economy, Dr. Isola said what the country need at this time is strong leadership; the country need leaders who are not puppets for those advocating one world government. Why should any patriotic American be committed to destroying the US dollar? While it is difficult to know if such leaders exist, the professor said the country doesn't even need change of leadership to make this move. Dr. Isola said current leaders can implement the program; it is just a matter of changing priorities. If the country's current leaders come to the realization of the need to put this country first, they can get it done.
Dr. Isola O. Busuyi is a prolific writer. He is the author of "Half Brain is Better than Whole". His publications can be accessed at www.cool-books.org and www.amazon.com.
