Twin Trinity Media Announces Winners of Accentuate Writers Short Story Contest with Vengeance Theme

The winners of the Accentuate Short Story Contest with the "Vengeance" theme have been announced.

    ODESSA, TX, November 08, 2010 /Books PR News/ -- Twin Trinity Media, part of the Accentuate FAMILY of Author Services, announces the winners of the Accentuate Writers Short Story Contest with the theme "Vengeance". Writers competed to obtain a coveted place in the Expressions of Passion anthology, including a royalty contract, cash and merchandise prizes.

Joan H. Young won first place in the contest with her entry, The Third Person. Other short story winners included Vengeance is Mine, by Camden Eastman, and The Best Revenge, by Nancy Smith Gibson; .
Three poems also earned places in the Expressions of Passion anthology. These were Showdown, by Lisa Lee Smith; They Aren't Like the Rest of Us, by Carol Ayer; and Dinner with a Vengeance, by Lisa Lee Smith.
Two stories were chosen to have their stories available for digital download on the http://shop.twintrinitymedia.com website. These were Missing Parts, by M. Lori Motley, and Bloody Sheets, by Jenny Corvette.
Contestants' submissions were judged on use of theme, adherence to submission guidelines and quality of the story and writing. The Accentuate Writers Short Story Anthology and Poetry Contests, now in their third year, give writers an opportunity to obtain critiques, a chance to win cash and merchandise prizes and a publishing contract. Anyone is eligible to enter the contests, but only the best work is included in the Accentuate Writers Anthologies.

The 2010 themes are part of the Expressions Series of anthologies for TTM, and the 2009 themes are part of the Elements Series of anthologies.
