Lydia F. Kugel Showcases Professional Brand through Cambridge Who's Who
Lydia F. Kugel holds master's degrees in corrective reading and library science
YORKTOWN HEIGHTS, NY, December 31, 2010 /Books PR News/ -- Lydia F. Kugel, Reference Librarian II for the Mahopac Public Library, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in library services.
With 44 years of professional experience, Ms. Kugel displays an expert skill in customer service. On a daily basis, she offers technical help to patrons, such as assisting students locate items appropriate for their research. Further, she orders books, and maintains the philosophy and psychology sections. Before becoming a reference librarian, Ms. Kugel taught for 25 years. She attributes her success to her work ethic.
Ms. Kugel earned a master's degree in corrective reading from Lehman College. She holds another master's degree in library science from Long Island University. She is a member of the New York Library Association and the American Library Association. The recipient of a Theodore Roosevelt Medal for Writing, Ms. Kugel spends her spare time with the Putnam Choral Group. Ms. Kugel aims to hold a senior position in her library.
