Strauss, Co-Director of the RetireRight Center of Chicago and President of Burman/Strauss Retirement Consultants, Inc. has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in the Human Resource and Career Transition arenas.
After contributing as a member of various senior executive teams in Fortune 100 companies for 40 years, and more specifically, counseling individuals related to career management activities, Mr. Donald C. Strauss decided in 2006 to help individuals plan their career transitions into retirement. As Co-Director of the RetireRight Center of Chicago and President of Burman/Strauss Retirement Consultants, Inc., Mr. Strauss is a recognized expert who leads workshops and coaches individuals with respect to planning retirement or transitioning careers. He has written and published a book with Diane Burman entitled, "Customize...don't minimize...Your Retirement: 7 Paths To Explore Possibilities, Choices, and Your Future Happiness". Mr. Strauss is also an adjunct professor with Benedictine University's Graduate School of Business. He is a certified retirement coach and has used his experience with Human Resource planning, recruiting, and organization behavior to help those in career transition. He attributes his career success to perseverance, continuous learning, and his ability to understand the leading-edge factors affecting retirement planning. Mr. Strauss received his Master's Degree in Labor and Industrial Relations from the University of Illinois. He has been a leader in the Human Resource Management Association of Chicago, and had been an active member of the Chicago Organization Network, the Society of Human Resource Management, and the American Society of Training and Development. He was inducted into Sigma Beta Delta, the International Business and Management Honor Society.
