A Gulf War veteran who saw action in Operation Desert Storm, Robert L. Comradd knows a thing or two about adversity and resilience. Determined to share what he learned with others, he established his eponymous home-based business five years ago with the aim of helping people get back on their feet again. He has since built a reputation as an author, public speaker and all-around philanthropist, delivering motivational speeches, assisting people with improving their credit scores and gathering food and clothing for the homeless. Mr. Comradd earned an associate degree in electronic and computer engineering in 2002 from Remington College. He is affiliated with Toastmasters International and the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People, and has been honored with several military awards. In five years, Mr. Comradd hopes to publish his second book.
