With 27 years of professional experience, Mrs. Knight is a managing partner for Flying B Ranch LLC. She currently has 28 horses which she has bred and raised, training them for the equestrian disciplines of dressage, jumping, trail, and carriage driving. She retired as a captain for Delta Air Lines and flew as a designated pilot examiner for the Federal Aviation Administration testing for and administering pilot licenses.
Mrs. Knight hopes to attend graduate school in Creative Writing after completing her BS in Interdisciplinary Studies with a major in Professional Writing from the Old Dominion University. She has written her first book entitled Air Affair, ISBN 978-1-4389-0270-8, which deals with another love: flying, and her adventures in commercial aviation. She began raising her own horses out of passion, is a member of local, state, and federal dressage and carriage driving societies. She attributes her success to her hard work and persistence.
