Sue Anna Hicks aims to spread awareness on the importance of coal miners
BECKLEY, WV, July 13, 2010 /Books PR News/ -- Sue Anna Hicks, Manager for Griff's Loft LLC, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in business management.
Inspired by her belief that through her artwork, many can share their heritage with the younger generations, Ms. Hicks, being a coal miner's daughter and granddaughter, aims to spread the awareness on the importance of coal miners to our society's past and present. As an artist, she paints what she feels and believes. She has 20 years of professional experience and specializes in art. For the past three years, she has worked as the manager and owner of Griff's Loft LLC, where she is responsible for art design and product promotion. Her dream was to share the history of the coal fields with her family and give an understanding to others of the joys and hardships that went along with growing up in a small, coal mining community. She attributes her success to her concern for the well-being of coal miners.
Ms. Hicks has volunteered for The American National Red Cross, and she supports the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. In the future, Ms. Hicks hopes to expand her business and publish a book.
