Reader's Entertainment Community is Re-Launched and Re-Formatted for Google TV Network
RedearsEntertainment.com re-launched with a new look, new assets, new shows and a variety of ways for people to view and interact according to what they prefer.
UKIAH, CA, February 25, 2011 /Books PR News/ -- The reader community site which originally launched in 2006 has had a steady stream of reader and author traffic to the site over the years, but took the leap into a more social and interactive venue this year when it re-launched the site with a new look, new assets, new shows and a variety of ways for people to view and interact according to what they like best.
The parent company of Reader's Entertainment Community television (RECtv) is the leading producer of book trailers in the U.S. Circle of Seven (COS) Productions. So the site offers a great deal of video and podcasts from a wide variety of genres.
The site allows for commenting on articles, videos, blogs and podcasts as well as sharing on Facebook, Twitter and a variety of bookmarking sites. The new shows and blogs keep fresh material coming in for readers and the future offerings of the site include free reads and weekly giveaways.
The site was also optimized for viewing on the new Google TV Network which allows those people who utilize Google's newest platform to see and interact with the site from their television.
"Right now we are working on creating specific mobile apps for the site," says COS Chief Technology Officer Jacob Henderson. "You can see the site on any mobile phone right now, but we want to offer specific apps that have mobile assets you can't find anywhere else."
Something for everyone
The new tag line for the newly re-launched reader site is "Variety is the spice of life." The emphasis being that all genres are represented on the site and in fact the site has "Genre Channels" that include; Family, Christian, SciFi/Fantasy, Horror/Paranormal, Non-Fiction, Romance, Suspense/Thriller and Young Adult.
And there's not just book video, though there's a lot of that, but there are blogs, articles, audio podcasts from the Reader's Entertainment Radio shows, original shows and Spotlight features. So readers will have an opportunity to seek what is specific to their interests and interact in ways that are most fun and convenient for them.
Circle of Seven Productions is a Book Marketing company helping connect readers to their favorite authors through the unique medium of Book Trailers (TM).
