Literary Award Winner to attend Black Authors Festival
MG Hardie, author of "It Ain't Just the Size" will be in Long Beach for the Black Authors Festival.
LONG BEACH, CA, March 23, 2011 /Books PR News/ -- On April 2, 2011 the Long Beach Public Library will host the 3rd Annual Black Authors Festival. MG Hardie's debut book "EveryDay Life" set the literary world on it's side, with some astonishing reviews, he was even compared to playwright 'Tyler Perry'. "EveryDay Life" juxstaposed Tupac and Shakespeare as it thrusted positive males into America's social dialogues. Hardie's second book "It Ain't Just the Size" continues to challenge readers and literature while mixing philosophy, poetry, physchology, politics with diverse characters and real world solutions.
Hardie is regarded as one of the fresh new American minds for Political Analysis and Social Commentary. He is also known for his unique perspectives on Race, Pop-Culture, Sports, Politics and Hip-Hop. He advocates equality, social justice and personal responsibility. MG Hardie and Marcus Hardie make up the 'Hardie Boys' tandem. They are the goto personalities for 21st Century Literature and 21st Century Commentary.
MG Hardie is a member of WCAM "WestCoast Authors Movement". WCAM is a group of Californian natives that are winning over the literacy world and putting California on the map. This group focuses on literary excellence with urban, hip hop, erotica and contemporary titles.
The Black Authors Festival is from 11-4pm, is free to the public and will feature 20 authors. The festival will also feature Children's Books, Plays, Poetry, Genealogy, Pop-Culture, Fiction, Non Fiction, Stress Management and legendary writer Odie Hawkins. The Long Beach Public library is located at 101 Pacific Avenue, Long Beach, CA 90802.
