Melanie Dickerson is the award-winning author of The Healer's Apprentice, a 2011 Christy Award finalist and a double finalist in the National Reader's Choice Awards for Best Inspirational and Best First Book. And releasing in November, The Merchant's Daughter, her second Young Adult medieval romance and fairy tale retelling from Zondervan. She is an active member of American Christian Fiction Writers and her local chapter of Romance Writers of America. A former teacher and missionary, she earned a degree in special education from The University of Alabama and now lives near Huntsville, Alabama with her husband and two daughters.
