Darrel Smith Explores the Tarot Cards in his new Epic Fantasy Book
Darrel is a uniquely inspired author from Louisiana that has just published the first book of an epic fantasy trilogy
SEATTLE, WA, November 05, 2011 /Books PR News/ -- Darrel Smith grew up in Louisiana and was heavily influenced by his grandmother. She was a gifted psychic who taught him to read playing cards when he was very young. Darrel took that experience and put it into the first of a planned series of books which speculate on what might happen if the Tarot cards were representative of real wizards, guarding real sacred paths, which exist and work to bring humanity to enlightenment.
The book is entitled "The Tarot Fool Runs"
Darrel drew from his many experiences as a card reader to come up with the plot idea. "People follow familiar universal paths and have similar insights when searching for meaning in their lives" Through imagination and fantasy Darrel weaves a spell of intrigue for his two heroes Clay and Ariel as they explore those sacred paths.
The author said "The series will capture the spirit of the Tarot cards and the esoteric nature that inspired them, while weaving a tale of adventure and romance".
This is Darrel Smiths first book in the planned 'Tarot Fool' series. It is now available for Kindle and will soon be available in paper back at Amazon.com.
