Why Won't Santa Visit Poor Children? - New Santa Claus Story Published on Kindle by Roy Thomsitt

English author Roy Thomsitt has published on Kindle his tropical Christmas story "Why Won't Santa Visit Poor Children?" The story is a Christmas fantasy set in the Philippines, about a poor young girl living by a rain forest in Palawan.

PALAWAN, PHILIPPINES, November 10, 2011 /Books PR News/ -- You would be hard pressed to find anyone in Europe or the USA who associates Santa Claus with tropical heat, jungles and living in unrelenting poverty. It is usually all snow and snowmen, Christmas cards and Christmas crackers, oodles of food and wanton gluttony. It is a time when many feel obliged to give gifts and see it as an unwanted chore, rather than a loving gesture of giving from the heart.

For a little girl living in poverty, close to a tropical rainforest far from America, seeing Christmas through an American movie about Santa Claus was her first sight of the country. It was also her first sight of a "real" Santa. From her world of hunger pangs and leaking roof hut, she is soon entranced into a magical world of fantasy around her tropical island home. As she had watched her first Christmas movie, little did she know that her world was to change dramatically and she would become a leading part of a magical Santa Claus adventure.

Di is the name of the girl, and she is the charming lead character of "Why Won't Santa Visit Poor Children?", an antidote to commercial Christmas story set on a tropical island in the Philippines. In the story, which English author Roy Thomsitt has recently published on Amazon Kindle, Di unexpectedly finds herself becoming part of a delightful Santa Claus fantasy of her own. As the story unravels Di becomes close friends with Santa. No, it was more than that; he was her hero and she became his heroine.

On Christmas morning Di ultimately reminds us all what giving from the heart really means; and what a wonderful experience it can be. More than that, Santa was proven right for trusting Di to be his little heroine.
